By Car:

Basin Harbor is a gorgeous 3.5 - 4 hour drive from Boston and 4.5 - 5 hour drive from NYC. For directions, travel to 4800 Basin Harbor Road, Vergennes, VT 05491. Please be sure your directions are set to the Vergennes address, as there are two 4800 Basin Harbor Roads in the area.

By Air:

Burlington International Airport (BTV), Vermont’s largest commercial airport, is just 45 minutes from Basin Harbor. It is served by major and commuter airlines, with connections from most cities in the Northeast. Basin Harbor offers an airport shuttle to and from BTV airport. For more information on the shuttle service, please contact the Concierge.

-- Car Rentals: If you're flying in and plan to explore Vermont beyond Basin Harbor - Avis, Enterprise, and Hertz all operate out of BTV. Otherwise, there is no need for a car, and an Uber/taxi service from BTV to Basin Harbor would suffice.

By Train:

The Ethan Allen Express is a daily service between New York City and Burlington, Vermont, by way of Albany, including a stop off in Vergennes. The Vermonter is a daily service between Washington, DC, and Essex Junction and St. Albans in northern Vermont. Transportation to Basin Harbor is available at a nominal fee. Please call the Concierge at least 48 hours in advance to make necessary arrangements for pickup.
